Barn and Bathroom Campaign

We’re raising support to renovate the barn and install bathrooms on the farm. Construction starts November 2026. We need your help to get there.

Affirming the Legacy

As the Venetucci Farm grows as a place that welcomes families, students and community, we need to ensure every visitor has a safe and welcoming experience. Updates to the barn and a bathroom facility ensure that everyone - including our kindergarten visitors - have a clean and positive experience at Venetucci Farm.

About the project

Venetucci Farm changed its operations in 2016 when it became clear we could not produce vegetables on the farm due to contamination in the Widefield Aquifer. Since then, the farm has focused on flowers, events, and education as a means to serve our community and the Venetucci legacy.

As visitation grows and the need for clean drinking water expands on the property, so does the need for a bathroom facility and drinking water delivery to our barn.

  • In November 2026, we will begin construction on a 4-stall bathroom facility that will serve the property. We will also add drinking water access to the visitor portion of the farm and bring the barn to event code standards.

Our super-users are families and students who need access to clean and hospitable bathroom facilities, as well as clean drinking water. We are also updating the barn to make it an accessible and inviting event space for year-round use.

  • To date, El Pomar Foundation, El Paso County and The Kahala Fund have contributed $580,000 to the project. We need to raise another $250,000 to meet our goal.

  • Ten years ago we lost clean drinking water at Venetucci Farm. Nevertheless, the Farm is thriving. As more students and families use the farm the demand for bathrooms and year around access to the barn is significant.
